Description

Learn the ancient wisdom of the Yamas and Niyamas in heart & mind

Yamas & Niyamas are ethical observances and attitudes  of how we interact with our environment and then with ourselves

Setting an intention for your day as a theme is a beautiful way to digest philosophy and develop an awareness of the SELF. This allows you the opportunity to work with the more subtle energies of observation of the universal energies that guide you.  15 minutes a day.

This Study contains 12 days of themes that act as an introduction to two things.

1. Understanding the first two limbs of the yogic path -Yamas & Niyamas

2. Listening to and feeling the subtler energies that surround you.

Apply the “day’s theme” to your actions and thoughts on and off the mat, and how you interact with the world around you.

Get to Know the Eight Limbs of Yoga

Study Suggestions: Choose a sacred time of your day to listen to the audio.  It’s nice to keep a journal of thoughts, drawings, happenings.  and to share what you experience, as this will embed the experience into your heart.

Some people choose to listen to the recordings the night before and dream about it.

Some choose to do it first thing in the morning.

That’s the beauty of a self-study.

TEACHERS: This is also a great way for you to practice theming and sharing with your students.

Namaste,  Leah
